Being in the centre of Tongue village means that the shop and a restaurant/bar are just a few steps away. If you feel like a longer walk, then the path to Castle Varrich is very near to the house.

Smoo Cave, Cape Wrath and Castle of Mey are some of the spectacular places to drive to, or perhaps go on a longer adventure with a day trip to the Orkney Islands from John O’Groats.
